The Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs will host the 2025 Southeastern Stamp Expo Jan. 23-25 at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast, 5993 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., in Peachtree Corners, Ga., about 20 miles northeast of Atlanta.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Parking is free. Admission for the weekend is $7 per family. Admission includes two raffle tickets for prizes that include Fleetwood binders of first-day covers for each of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence and a used United States 1869 24¢ Declaration of Independence stamp (Scott 120).
The show will feature more than 140 frames of exhibits and a bourse (sales area) with 20 dealers. Experienced stamp collectors will be on hand to provide evaluations of inherited stamp collections.
The Southeastern Stamp Expo is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately exhibition. The multiframe grand award winner will qualify for the APS Champion of Champions competition at the Boston 2026 World Stamp Expo to take place May 23-30 in Boston, Mass.
The single-frame grand award winner will be eligible for the single-frame championship at the Chicagopex show Nov. 20-22 in Itasca, Ill., near Chicago.
Exhibits at the Southeastern Stamp Expo will be judged by an APS-accredited jury chaired by Darrell Ertzberger. Also on the panel are judges Tim Bartshe, Robert Henak, Regis Hoffman, Ken Nilsestuen, Philip Leber and apprentice Rick Gibson.
An awards banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the show hotel. The cost is $65 a person, and tickets must be purchased before Jan. 21. Queries can be sent by email to Foster Miller at fmillerfdc@gmail.com.
The show theme is the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The theme will be displayed in exhibits, presentations and special philatelic displays.
Convening societies at the Southeastern Stamp Expo include the Rossica Society of Russian Philately, Scouts on Stamps Society International, Georgia Postal History Society, American First Day Cover Society and Ebony Society for Philatelic Events and Reflections. Other organizations with a presence at the show will be the British North American Philatelic Society and American Topical Association.
